Experiencing Issues with Deposits? UPDATE INSIDE

Hello all! I (Randall) have an update for you directly from Torba on delayed deposits!
First of all, some of you may be wondering why you have not received a specific deposit. Deposits have been delayed for the last several days because of a malicious malleability attack on the Bitcoin blockchain that is creating thousands of double-spent transactions, and basically making life hell.
Secondly, many of you have been very patient with the delayed deposits, but are still concerned. I have news for you! If you would take a look at your deposit addresses on Primedice, you will notice they have changed. Fear not! This is actually for the better! There are three things you should know:
1) Deposits still awaiting confirmation that were completed with your OLD address WILL still be credited, it will just take a little time! :)
2) Deposits created with your NEW address should credit instantly after receiving 1 confirmation, as usual, according to Torba.
3) PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE DEPOSITING TO YOUR OLD ADDRESS if you still have it on file, as the only way to get those transactions assigned to your account is through support. It's better if you just use the new addy, which should be faster anyway.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding! This has been a tough week for many people! :D
I will keep an eye on this thread to answer potential questions.
~Randall

UserAccounts @ Bitcointalk.org not like other accounts at other community's!

Why is it that only bitcointalk.org allows the selling of user accounts? I cant think of any other community that allows the selling of user accounts! My hero account was hacked/stolen and supposedly sold to someone who bought it for the purpose of spamming the forum with a signature advertisements.
From my understanding people will pay users to spam the forum with signature advertisements. In my case someone by the name "STUNNA" was paying people to advertise something called PRIMEDICE and my stolen account was being used to propagate this via my signature on my stolen account.
So basically accounts with the status of "hero" are wanted for this purpose as people who are new or have low activity levels or low post counts are not trusted. Simply put, if you are spamming the forum with some loud signature the noobs are more inclined to click on said signature if you have a status of hero and above..
So this community that i had positively interacted with for well over a year has now been muted and all the posts that i had on watch are no longer pinging me and not only that but all the people who i interacted with are put at risk because someone is sending personal messages via my account and pretending to be me.
At the time when my account was stolen i had no idea that selling user accounts was ok at bitcointalk. Little did i know the guy who stole my account had a thread over at bitcointalk where he openly sells users accounts to other users!! WOW! unbelievable!
Ive sent Theymos and another mod signed msgs from the btc addresses from my account but evidently thats not good enough as the guy who stole/hacked my account claims i sold it to him but of course i did NOT and of course he has no "signed msg from me" to prove the account was sold.
Before this incident i had never sold anything at bitcointalk accept some potcoins once, i never even visited the marketplace nor did i ever do anything related to the buying and selling of user accounts ever. I have never once scammed anyone under any circumstance nor have i ever been accused of doing anything remotely not on the up and up.
Its mind blowing to think that someone can hack your account and then sell it to another user and they can continue using it with no recourse or repercussion.
I had a 36 character password on my account so it wasn't like i was careless. I still dont know how my account was compromised but i have not lost any btc whatsoever so at least there is that. My email account was NOT compromised either so this is solely a bitcointalk.org thing.
At this point i would have been more than happy if the mods just froze my account permanently so at least this guy cant continue to message other forum users and scam them in my name but im sure thats not going to happen.
Im not writing this in hopes of retrieving my account either. Ive msg'd Theymos and another mod twice and from their silence its crystal clear that they condone this type of activity and in their eyes its ok to steal other people accounts and then sell them right there at bitcointalk.org!
Thats said the reason im writing this post is to ask the community.. Why would it be ok to sell other people accounts especially in a community that does not have 2fa or anything related .. even a simple email verification to change email addresses?
Why ? Can anyone clue me in? If there is a perspective im missing please feel free to elaborate ...
I realize Theymos is a mod here at bitcoin and when i posted a comment in the "new forum thread" at bitcointalk noting that its pretty much a joke that a place like bitcointalk doesnt have 2fa.. my post was deleted!
Thats said, this is just a friendly reminder that its ok to disagree! If everyone is thinking the same then someone is not thinking!
Is it not ok to ask questions? Hopefully this post here at bitcoin is not deleted as well.

Primedice no longer serving US customers

Friends,
Effective immediately Primedice will no longer accept deposits from visitors located within certain jurisdictions including the US. While Primedice is neither operated nor based in the USA, we've chosen to take proactive measures to mitigate long term risk for our users and service. The legal landscape is quickly shifting and we are choosing to completely block deposits from users located in what we've deemed as higher risk jurisdictions.
Primedice does not make use of US currency nor banking, and this block is not recognition that bitcoin gambling is illegal. This decision has been solely based off of discussions between Primedice and our legal counsel. I know this news will disappoint many of you, however we're strong believers in Bitcoin and are playing defensively to secure our long term position at the top of this rapidly growing industry. We're confident that every major online casino will accept Bitcoin within the next five years and we're determined to compete directly with them by continuing to create new disruptive experiences. We've been lucky enough to see the transformative power of Bitcoin with regards to gambling from a first hand perspective and are confident this is the right decision moving forward.
Thank You, Primedice Team

Confession on how I got away with $1500 in Bitcoins for free

So first of all, yes, I'm using a throw-away account and Tor (Apparently you have to use https://pay.reddit.com/ in order to login through Tor. The regular http://www.reddit.com/ let me register but wouldn't let me login. Just FYI for anyone having the same problem.) Call me a coward if you like.
Anyway, this happened a few months back. I was trying the wallet encryption feature for the first time on Bitcoin-QT. I got it setup but wanted to verify I could send and receive coins (and also that it would prompt for a password each time.) To do so, I figured I'd have a little fun and try out PrimeDice. I'm not much of a gambler (I never bet more than $20 at a time and I usually end up losing) and this was really only a test so I sent, I don't remember, about $1 or $2 worth of bitcoins over. Bitcoin-QT prompted me for my password as it should have. I rolled the dice a couple times and actually came out ahead by a small amount (won 50 cents or something.)
Then I hit cashout. Transaction comes in OK for the correct amount but then, what's this? Another transaction? Then another? And another? And another? I'm thinking oh great I must have glitched my wallet. But then they start confirming. At that point I realized I just hit the Bitcoin equivalent of winning the jackpot. Somehow PrimeDice messed up bad and sent my small transaction to me over 100 times (actually math tells me it would have been over 700 times, I don't remember.) And it wasn't just a double spend. Every. Single. Transaction. was valid and confirmed through the blockchain. It was popping up "received new bitcoins" on my screen about every 10-30 seconds for hours. I had already stayed up far too late watching the transactions come in and had to work very early in the morning so I forced myself to go to sleep after I had received about $500 worth, knowing the money was still flowing in. Woke up to the full amount and just though "Holy Shit. What are the chances? This is almost a month's worth of income for me for free."
Anyway, I ended up cashing it all out to fiat so I have none of those bitcoins left. I have this mistake to thank for my new monitor and GPU I'm using to type this. I'm not proud of my actions but I'm curious: If you were in my situation, what would you do? It would be like if you went to the ATM (that you somehow knew not to have a security camera and with no one else standing around) to take out $20 and it just glitched and kept spitting out money. Then you look at your bank statement and you only get charged for the $20. Me personally, I would have no hesitation at all stealing from someone like Bank of America. I feel a bit worse about taking coins from a smaller player like PrimeDice. If it was an individual person, I probably would have given the money back.
Does that make it right? No, but $1500 doesn't make all that much difference to them but it's a hell of a lot of money for me making only marginally better than minimum wage. Also, since it's a gambling service, I just took at as a large win. Happens all the time, right? And what business do they have using semi-anonymous currency with no method of collecting refunds if they can't design their systems properly? I just gave them a hard lesson (but not too hard, I doubt $1,500 would really hurt them, just give them a wake up call to fix it before it becomes $15,000. I also waited a couple months to post this so they had time to fix it. I see they've re-designed their site now and this happened prior to the re-design so good chance the bug is patched now.)
These justifications are paper-thin, I know. Just giving you an idea of my mindset at the time. So, go ahead, flame me, down-vote me, call me a thief if you like but put yourself in my shoes and ask yourself what you would honestly do. Some of you would give it back, I'm sure. But most? I don't know.

Bitcoin cannot overthrow the government. That is ridiculous.

http://www.reddit.com/Bitcoin/comments/2yc3qc/the_paradox_is_that_bitcoin_can_only_overthrow/cp8crsx
Of course it can, in fact I would argue that it has already begun doing so. For the first time in human history we have an easily transferable, fungible, non-expiring asset that cannot be seized via force or subpoena. Where transactions cannot be nullified, and with the ability to hide the transfer of money to a sufficient degree that working out who owes what in taxes becomes worth less than the cost of doing so. In fact, we already have examples where bitcoin has allowed people to give a brazen fuck you to the law - the most obvious one being SilkRoad. While it was closed down, it allowed many, many people to peacefully trade with very little fear of any physical violence towards them, completely subverting the urges of their governments. It allowed people to transact with more safety than using physical cash and meeting in person1 . It unleashed a hydra similar to that of pirating, as while you can close down one silk-road, all it does is create a more lucrative market for another to appear - have the sales slowed down? Not at all. Lets go with a less-obvious example. Gambling. Online gambling in the US is of course generally speaking illegal, however now anyone with the software capabilities to create a gambling site has the ability to set up a site, run it with relative anonymity, and not risk user funds being seized. Each user has equal access to banking without there being any central party for a government to lean on to remove access.2,3,4,5 Seals With Clubs operated for years out of Nevada, and was recently raided for operating as an unlicensed online-gambling site. The man was held at gunpoint with his wife and two-year old daughter, in his underwear, on his lawn. Meanwhile they seized his electronics, and have begun an investigation into his activities. What has he done? Well, his bitcoin was properly secured, so they have no access to customer funds. He has moved to Antigua, told the Nevada gaming commission to go fuck themselves, and continued operations on a new site. Had this been with dollars the bank accounts would have been seized and user funds lost. 6 Other examples of course include predictions markets, there have previously been many large markets for predicting future events - such as elections. The US government shut down InTrade7 which was based in Ireland. Bitcoin? There are three or four competing sites, which have been running for years. The state cannot enforce laws if they can't exercise control over value. For the first time in history removing your value from government control does not mean removing yourself from the rest of the financial world. 1 http://www.drugpolicy.org/blog/silk-road-was-safer-streets-buyerssellers[1] 2 http://www.nbr.co.nz/opinion/senators-letters-mega-visa-mastercard-paypal-ck[2] 3 https://primedice.com/[3] 4 https://www.satoshidice.com/[4] 5 https://satoshibet.com/[5] 6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaD8ion8iGI[6] 7 https://www.intrade.com/v4/home/[7] EDIT: spelling

Update on dice sites with faucet grind. With an easy way to make .25+ per day! Details/pics inside.

About 3 weeks ago I posted this thread about Primedice. So here is some details about the grind since then with a few pics:
I've withdrawn .2 btc from PD since I started and moved .1 btc over to gambit by tipping it to a friend and him giving me the funds on gambit. I'll make a new thread about Gambit shortly. I've posted about it here in the past.
I mentioned in my past post about Primedice that they allow "bank accounts" to store funds so that one can practice some bankroll management. Here's a pic of my current bank account on PD.
999dice -
Ref
Non Ref
Yesterday I found 999dice and deposited .15 btc. I had to use a script to bet 200 times twice every second as that is the limit of the site. In under 24 hours, I've done .22 profit!
Here is a picture of my settings for the bot.
I also told one of my friends about this and he is doing the same thing I just mentioned and here's my commission so far.
I never deposited anything out of my personal bitcoin wallet. I built all this up by using the faucet on Primedice and getting tips.
PrimeDice
Ref
Non-Ref
So, while just playing around the last few months I built up a base from scratch and have found a decent way to make .25 btc per day. Both PD and 999dice have faucets, so you can use both to build up. I would recommend being friendly in the chat on PD as they tip 50k sats pretty often. Make a bank account and safe. The ultimate goal is to get .15 btc onto 999 dice and run the bot.
I'll answer any questions and report back in a few weeks with my progress!
